Of course, who would have forgotten the best music you’ve ever heard.  Music is a form of art. What is life without music? Now , here are some of the best music in Spain.

1. Los Piratas – Ultrasonica

It is from the album called Ultrasonica by the Galician band, Los Piratas. This album is about anger but has more musical and grooviness in it. Ultrasonica is the sixth album made by the band with a Spanish music, it is closer to international star groups like Radiohead and a bit more attitude from the Spanish rock during the 80’s. The song “Ultrasonica” is from the title of the album itself.

2.  Extremoduro – Yo Minoria absoluta

This album is by the Spanish hard rock band called Extremoduro, produced by Inaki “uoho” Anton and published by DRO on the 5th of Match 2002. If you’re gonna listen to the songs in this album, you will notice that it is the most essential and authentic raw national rock you’ve ever heard. Particularly, the song that made this album famous is Yo minoria absoluta which is popular during 2002 in the entire Spain.

3. Carmen Santonja and Gloria van Aerssen- Vainica Doble

The hit song Vainica Doble is from the album of a musical duo with Carmen Santonja and Gloria van Aerssen on the 1970’s. This album is one Spain’s most influential album, played by thousands of people. They were active between 1970 and 1986. Their music is a mixture of progressive rock, naive lyrics, folk and some backing musicians.

4. Sau – No puc deixar de fumar

Sau is a music group or band from Catalonia, the were famous during the 1990’s and they were one of the first music groups to write pop music with Catalan lyrics or rock catala. The song that made them famous is No puc deixar de fumar.  Two of the main members were Carles Sabater and Pep Sala. Sabater’s death on 1999, after a concert led to the end of the band’s existence.

5. O’funk’illo – Riñones al jerez

O’funk’illo is a musical group/band in Spain, their songs were groovy, funk and rap-metal, sometimes a mixture of those. The lead singer is Andreas Lutz and the members were Pepe Bao, Andreas Lutz himself, and Rafa Kas. They had seven albums since 1997 until 2011. The song that made a hit and made them famous is Riñones al jerez. After releasing that song, their other songs became famous as well.

6. Ska-P – Estampida

Estampida is from the album of the punk Spanish band called Ska-P. This band is popular since the 90’s. The album Intcontrolable is easily translated as “uncontrollable” or “out of control”, it was released in 2004 and recorded live in France, Italy and Switzerland. The band still plays in Spain and they still have a lot of fans up until now.

7. Mix of artists -Sensational soul

Sensational soul is a Spanish album filled with different groovy songs from 1966 to 1976. The songs will surely make the people in the dancefloor release their inner dancing skills. The album was released on 2007 with two CD’s. This album is very popular that it is played in every night club in Spain on the 1960’s to 1960’s.

10. Paulina Rubio-  Ni Rosas Ni Juquetes

This is a pop song which is performed by the famous pop singer, Paulina Rubio on 2009, from her 9th album called Grand City pop. This song is a remix with the rapper Pitbull. The song is so famous that it reached number 5 on the US Billboard in Latin pop songs and number nine in Hot Latin Songs.
