Aracaju a state of Sergipe, Brazil and it is the state’s capital too. The total population of the state is 614,577 as of 2013 which is 33% of the entire population of the state. The total land area of Aracaju is 181.857 kilometers-squared. The state is founded on 1855.

1. Have a swim at the beaches

Make some time and get away from the busy city and just enjoy the ocean breeze at the beaches or even have a swim for additional fun and adventure. Visiting the beaches is a great activity for families with children too. 7. Explore spiritual churches

There are a lot of churches in Aracaju but what makes it special is that most of it is very ancient and has a lot of stories to tell. One of the famous landmarks to visit around Aracaju are the churches around the area. The churches that you must visit are Sao Salvador church, Santo Antonio hill and church, Metropolitan Cathedral,  and Igreja de Sao Judas Tadeu.

8. Shop until you drop

Of course, you wouldn’t want to forget to buy some souvenirs and gifts for yourself and for the people you love. Shopping is easy in Aracaju, you can pretty much see stalls with local crafts and items for sale which is really great for souvenirs. There are also shopping malls at the center of the city if you want to shop in international brands.

There are a lot of beaches around Aracaju that I haven’t mentioned and booking some boat tours would be great to roam around the ocean and watch the city. It is a unique way of touring around and you will surely enjoy looking at some fishes and if you are lucky, you will some dolphins too!
