1. Platja de Sant Sebastià

This beach is located between the port in Sitges and old town, and can be reached within 30 minutes by a train from Barcelona. Platja de Sant Sebastià has a coast line that extends over 200 meters. It is a family beach that is frequently visited by the locals as well as tourists. While lying on the sand, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of old town, which is located on a small hill. The beach provides a wide array of services to the visitors, and special arrangements for the disabled guests.

Located underneath the whitewashed Church of Sitges, Platja de la Fragata is the first western beach of the town that extends up to Terramar Hotel. The beach is very popular among the youngsters because of the availability of volley ball nets and beach tennis. The locals and tourists who plan to visit this beach with their children can also hire pedalo. Apart from these activities, the scenic beauty of the beach is also one of the most appealing factors of this spot.

3. Platja de la Ribera

Located in the center of the town, Platja de la Ribera appeals almost all the age groups. The beach is around 250 meters long and 37 meters wide , which allows the visitors to feel comfortable. On weekends, however, the beach may seem a little crowded. Apart from boasting its fine golden sand, the beach provides the visitors with different amenities, including tents and hammocks rentals, first aid, beach bar, showers, and lifeguards etc. The beach also has special ramps and service chair washrooms for disabled visitors.

4. Platja d’Aiguadolç

This beach is located at the east of Port d’Aiguadolç and is well known for its clean water. Even though Platja de la Marina d’Aiguadolç is more famous among naturalists, but local families also visit this beach. Its shallow waters, and mesmerizing beauty makes it one of the most over crowded beaches of Sitges. The beach has width of around 20 m and length of 145 m. The variety of services offered by this beach include,  Beach Bar, deck chairs and umbrellas,lifeguard, massage service, pedaloes, and access ramp.

Platja dels Balmins is one of the three beaches that are located at the east of the Sitges Church. The beach is nudist to a great extent and gives a scenic view as it is nestled in mountains rather than buildings. Its secluded location makes it an ideal spot for sun bathers and swimmers. Eating places and toilets are located at the farther end of the beach. The beach also has an access ramp for disabled individuals.

It is one of the longest and busiest beaches in Sitges. Platja de l’Estanyol attracts people belonging to almost all the groups. Extending over a length and width of 365 meters and 20 meters respectively, this lovely beach offers a wide range of amenities to the visitors. It is one of the exclusive locations that attracts people who wish to have a massage right on the beach in one of the shaded huts.

Located between La Barra Beach and L’Estanyol Beach, Platja de la Riera Xica is a narrow and stretched beach outside the center of the town. This beach allows the visitors to enjoy a spacious and less crowded surroundings because of its location. Red flags stretch over the boundary of the beach, with alert lifeguards seated on high stools. The surroundings of the beach are very well maintained, with beautiful lawns and palm trees that encompass the beach. Visitors can hire sun loungers with parasols on the beach.

8. Platja de la Bassa Rodona

Platja de la Bassa Rodona is one of the most popular gay beaches in Sitges. It is a relatively narrow band of sand, with a width of 18 meter, hence is generally crowded. The beer and cocktail bar at the beach serves drinks all the time. Music, which starts at around 4pm, refreshes the entire atmosphere. During the peak season the beach is very busy, so the visitors who want to get a sun bed shall try to reach the place before lunch.

Located towards the edge of the town, Platja de la Barra is more like a cove. Due to its distance from the town, this beach has lesser crowd than that on the central beaches. Services like bars, showers, and restaurants give this beach an urban touch. Even though the water is perfectly clean, but the thin sand may make it a bit troublesome. Platja de la Barra is an ideal location for families, with Terramar nearby. You can rent sun shades and lounge chairs from the beach.
