Nagoya is Japan’s 4rth most populated metropolis. It’s the capital city of Aichi Prefecture This City developed as the fort city of the Owari, one of the 3 branches of the ruling Tokugawa household through the Edo Period. A lot of towns, together with most of its historic buildings, have been destroyed in the air raids of 1945. The Toyota Motor Company maintains its headquarters in Nagoya.

1. Go Nagoya from Tokyo

By Bus and Air:

Take Keisei Skyliner 41 to Narita Airport Terminal 1 and get ALL Nippon Airways 337 Airplane to Central Japan International Airport, from there take Meitetsu Ltd. Express to Kanayama and then take JR Tokaido Line New Rapid Train to Nagoya It will cost 23000ye.

Take Shinkansen Nozomi 32 from Kyoto Station Departure track No.12 to Nagoya this will take 40 min and will cost 2600yen.

By Bus:

Take JR Biwako Line for Maibara from Kyoto and then take SHIRASAGI 12 Express from Maibara to Nagoya this will cost you 2590yen.

3. Go Nagoya from Osaka

By JR and Fast Train:

Take JR Special Rapid Service from Osaka Station Departure track No.8 to Kyoto this will take 30 min and then take a fast train Shinkansen Nozomi 34 from Kyoto station to Nagoya this will take 35 min and this trip from Osaka to Nagoya will cost around 3350yen.

Take JR Takayama Line for Minoota and then take JR Takayama Line for Gifu and from Gifu take JR Tokaido Line New Rapid Train to Nagoya this will cost 3400yen.

By Bus:

Take HIDA 16 Express from Takayama Bus terminal to Nagoya that will take 150 min and cost around 3350 yen.

By Train:

Take JR Takayama Line from Minoota to Gifu and then take another JR Tokaido Line New Rapid Train to Nagoya this will take 60 min and cost about 1150yen.

By Bus:

Take HIDA 14 from Minoota bus terminal to Nagoya that will take approximately 45 min and cost you around 1140yen,

6. Go Nagoya from Shibuya

By Train:

Take JR Yamanote Line (Inner loop) from Shibuya to OSAKI and from there take another JR Yamanote Line to Shinagawa and finally take SHINKANSEN NOZOMI 49 from Shinagawa to Nagoya Station this will take 3 hours and cost you around 6250yen. There are no special buses going on this rout.

7. Go Nagoya from Yokohama

By train:

Take JR Yokohama Line Local from Yokohama station to Shin-Yokohama where you will have to take fast train Shinkansen Nozomi 237 to Nagoya that will take 2 hours and cost 5600yen.

By Bus:

Take NARITA Express 43 Express from Yokohama bus terminal to Shinagawa and then take fast train Shinkansen Nozomi 51 to Nagoya this will cost 6200yen.
