Sitges is a coastal town in Spain which is full of wonderful beaches, exotic hotels and amazing bars, making it a tourists’ heaven. Sitges is also a gay hotspot- every year, many gay men, mostly from Europe, visit the city. This is particularly easy to observe in summer, when the city’s beaches are crowded with gay people.
1. Platja de Bassa Rodona
Platja de Bassa Rodona is one of the many beautiful and clean beaches in Sitges. It is a gay-friendly beach and many gays can be seen at the place during the peak season, that is, in July and August. In addition, it is the main gay beach in the city, so it is visited by almost all gay tourists in Sitges.

The bar cum cafe offers a variety of drinks, such as gin, coffee and cocktails.

4. Balmins Beach

Also known as Playa Nudista Cala Balmins, this is one of the most beautiful beaches of Sitges. It is becoming increasingly popular among gay tourists, who can be seen in large numbers at the beach, particularly in its second and third coves. It is thought to be the future successor of the Platja de Bassa Rodona as the most gay-friendly beach,

5. Organic
Organic is a club in Sitges. It is located in the busy gay street in Sitges. It is visited by many gay tourists and gets busy at the time when all bars get closed- around 3 AM. Every day, a new theme of music is selected for the dance club, ranging from music of the 80s and 90s to modern day Spanish music. Organic also hosts the Sitges foam party.

6. Backstage Live Music Bar
The Backstage Live Music Bar is another gay bar in Sitges. It offers amazing drinks along with wonderful live music performances. It visited by numerous tourists, including many gays. It is another gateway or securing one’s entry into the immersive gay nightlife of the city. Unlike other ones, this bar is a multi-language one including Spanish, English and French. It also closes earlier than most of the bars in the city.

8. Playa del Hombre Muerto
It is the third gay-friendly beach in Sitges. It is in a good secluded spot at the end of the promenade and can only be reached by walking to the end of it. There are many gay tourists over there. Also, there are some cafes and bars nearby the beach allowing the visitors to have a meal or a drink, but these places are quite expensive.

9. Privilege Club
Privilege Club Sitges is one of the best dance bars in Sitges. It features a large dance floor along with three bars, making it an ideal place for those who like music and dance. It is the best place to enjoy your drink on a large terrace in a very friendly environment- so friendly that you would not even want to leave. The bar lies at the intersection of the two famous gay districts in Sitges, namely: C.Bonaire and Plz Industria.
