2. Omicho Market
Omicho market is a very much popular market in Kanazawa. Interesting enough with the usual suspects, local color, local products. There have fish and vegetables that you may not see before. Definitely have a go at the gold leaf works while you are in Kanazawa, it gives you a totally unique gift and a great experience. The instructor does not speak much English, but he can satisfy you. Chaya Bijin sells the best range of golden leaf cosmetic as well as nice tea. Pricey shop but worth a visit, you can pick up some interesting pieces. It is very busy all the time, probably consider visiting early in the morning, so you can have a good browse around. Their cosmetics are very much good.
