3. Deliciosa Marta
Tables are hard to come by at this cozy but popular dining spot that opened in 2007. Much of the original design with the exposed stone wall and wooden beams has been preserved, although the steady lighting adds a modern touch to the restaurant. The daily rotating menu features everything from scallops to truffles.

More like a transport café with a few outside tables, this quirky little restaurant pleases its customers with its rustic ambiance and freshest fish from the islands. 7. Rural Mahoh Restaurant
This 19th-century country house in Villaverde is a casual rural hotel with native plant gardens during the day, which turns into a fine dining restaurant at the night. MAHOH is the oldest name in the history of Fuerteventura, which literally means “My land, my country.” The restaurant serves typical Canarian food from parrot fish paté to goat meat to majoreros cheese.
