The capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná, Curitiba,  is a cultural centre, which offers an array of beautiful and interesting sights to see, such as the Jerusalem Fountain, Botanical Garden of Curitiba and Japan Square. There are also a number of performance venues, such as the Wire Opera, with its majestic transparent roof, and the Guaíra Theater. In downtown Curitiba, you’ll find a cosy spot called Sale Pepe. Here you can enjoy a delightful, high-quality buffet style meal, with hot and cold options. They have a different menu for each day of the week;  Brazilian on Mondays, Italian on Tuesdays, on Thursdays there is an Arabic menu and seafood on Fridays. They also have an excellent, well-priced wine list.

The vibrant Taj Bar is one of the most prestigious bars/restaurants in Curitiba and considered the best bar in Brazil by the Cool Awards for two consecutive years. The oriental Indo-Asian food, paired with the latest music trends, by renowned DJ’s makes for a great experience. It is especially their Sushi that receives great praises. The restaurant can become crowded, so it’s best to make a reservation.
