Agadir is a city in Morroco in the region of Souss-Massa near the foot of the Atlas Mountains. The population of Agadir as of 2012 is 600,000 which ranks the 8th most populous in Morocco.

1. Walk around Seafront promenade

Seafront promenade is a park with an overview of the ocean. It is a great place  just to relax, read a book or hike around. Many of the tourists love to visit this park as well as the locals. The ocean breeze is so calming and the promenade is very lively during the night as well especially during the month of August because it is school holidays.

2. Swim around Agadir Beach

Another fun way of enjoying Agadir is to visit the best beaches around and one of them is the Agadir Beach. This beach is best for surfing as well. Get away from the city and enjoy the relaxing ambiance of this beach.

3. Buy something at Souk El Had d’Agadir

Souk El Had d’Agadir is a huge market where you can buy almost anything from foods, clothing, local products and so much more. The market can be very crowded sometimes, though.

4. Taghazout Beach

One of the best beaches in Agadir is Taghazout Beach. This beach has a very fine sand and a great place to sunbathe too. Agadir Kasbah is a historic architecture with lots of good histories in the place. The place is free to visit and you will also be able to have a 360 view of Agadir in here. There are a few ruins but you have to learn to say “no” to a lot of salesmen that can sometimes be too pushy.
