Castellón or Castelló, is the capital city of the region of Castelló, in the Valencian Community, Spain, in the east of the great and really scenic Iberian Peninsula, which is on the Costa del Azahar by the Mediterranean Sea.

2. Ride a Bike at The Via Verde Route
There are numerous people on foot that strolled as an afterthought for the bicyclists.It is near the ocean, simple cycling and wonderfully arranged bistros and eateries at either end! There were places that were eminent and there were a lot of spots to stop your bicycle and investigate the pristine area and picturesque excellent coastline.

3. Go to Castillo Templario Pontificio
If ever by chance that you are going to Peñiscola, you can not go one without going by the château, intriguing place exceptionally all around protected and the aide will recount the story. Exceptionally recommended. General affirmation is 5 € and well worth, both the chronicled with respect to the perspective, every one of them breathtaking. 4. Visit the Morella Castle
There are hints of settlement by the Iberians, succeeded by the Greeks and Romans, Visigoths and the Moors. From the mid-seventeenth century to the Spanish Civil War, the town was frequently battled about, because of its key circumstance between the Ebro and the waterfront plain of Valencia. 5. Go to the Coves de Sant Josep
You should go here with family & friends. That said it was worth the visit, the rock formations, the stunning tranquility. The place has the caves. We enjoyed our visit and the area surrounding the caves was not a tourist trap but had a small selection of bars and eating places at very reasonable prices. We got a handheld audio guide.

6. Take a dip at Montanejos Hot Springs
If you like a nice day to spend in crystal clear water, then go here. This is very much recommended that for you to travel here. Just to make it clear, the springs are not hot, around 25C, so it is pleasant but it won’t keep you warm on chilly days. On a summer day, this is a perfect family day trip. There are a lot of small fish in the water, we think this is really fun, but some people. Relaxing river swims, warmed by a spring, in the scenic gorge.

7. Visit the Morella Walls
Beautiful medieval village. Worth a day visit if you happen to spend your holidays around. Going there from the coast by public transport is almost impossible. There are organized tours departing from the main touristic cities in the region, but I would recommend renting a car to go there so that you can explore the city at your own place and take a meal in one of the many fine restaurants that are there.
8. See the Church of Santa María en Morella, Castellón
The basilica addition to its overall beauty has some special features that make your visit is mandatory. You’ll hear the chorus, organ and mainly to the stairway with polychrome figures. also it has inside a museum with some relevant pieces. A medieval village with all its charm. The scenery is magnificent from Castellon, the city is beautiful with its spectacular entrance door.

9. Explore the Parque Natural Islas Columbretes
The tour is very interesting and maybe the bathroom with snorkel and turquoise waters. The worst thing, however, is the three-hour boat round three back, but worth it. Our treasure in the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful islands of volcanic origin, although its smaller beauty is under its waters. This nature reserve is increasingly plagued by typical Mediterranean species, ideal for snorkeling removing.

10. Have fun at Aquarama Water Park
Great place to spend a hot summers day. The water is cold and refreshing. The place is packed with people but there is space to play. The water park is fun for the small kids as well as the bigger ones too. This is a water park that I have visited many times as I have family in the area.There are a great choice of slides and splash pools to suit all ages and abilities. As well as the areas with sun loungers there are a number of grassed areas for people who don’t want to hire a lounger.

The mountain range that is actually known to be Desert de Les Palmes rises inland north of the town. The little Castellón Airport offers aide for tourists and visitors, just ask.
