1. How to Reach Airport

Alicante airport can be easily reached via local buses, taxis, and private cars on automobile road N-338. It is located about 48 km from Benidorm and is easily accessible by roads. There is no train to the airport so you have to take either taxi or cab to reach there.

Hiring a car or taxi at the airport is very easy as there are a number of companies offering taxi for rent at the arrival terminal of the airport. Some of the major car companies there are National Atesa, Auriga Crown , Avis, Record Rent A Car, Europcar, Centauro, Sixt and many others. If you are arriving in groups than hiring these taxi is the best way to explore the Costa Blanca area. You can easily visit various tourist destination in the area and nearby by these cars.

7. New Terminal

The new terminal of the airport was started on 23 March 2011 which is about six times larger than that of terminals 1 & 2 combined. Every flight operation of the airport was moved to this terminal as the terminal was started. Some of the features of this new terminal are 40 gates, about 96 check in desks. Both the former terminal are now closed and all the arriving and departing flights operate from this terminal only.
