Benidorm has a famously lively nightlife, with bars, pubs and clubs dotted around everywhere. When the sun sets, the town is flooded with lights and places enticing you in. You can go for a quick cocktail, lounge in a relaxed bar, go to a British style pub, or even dance until the sun comes up again in one of Benidorm’s many clubs. Both the main strip and further back into the old town host dozens of establishments. Finding somewhere to go out is not a problem. Here’s a guide to some of the best that Benidorm has to offer.

1. Western Saloon

The first on the list is as lively a spot as you’ll find in the town. Western Saloon is themed on America’s wild west, which is obvious from the name. It’s bright, lively and you can expect an exciting night. They have live music throughout the day to keep you constantly entertained. There is always a crowd, it being a very popular choice, and there is a good atmosphere with reasonably priced drinks. Remember to wear your dancing soes here.

2. Levi’s Showboat

3. Uncle Ped’s

If you’re on holiday with family and want somewhere to go out, then try Uncle Ped’s. Children are welcome at this pub, meaning that there is a warm and friendly atmosphere. Another bar providing entertainment, there is some pretty good live music on offer here. If inside is a bit too hot for you, or you need a break from the noise, there is plenty of outdoor seating. With welcoming staff, this is a great choice of venue for the evening.

4. Bar Dulcinea

Bar Dulcinea has more of a laid back atmosphere to it then a lot of places in Benidorm. If standing all night and waiting in long queues isn’t for you, then this is a good choice. They serve different drinks, from cocktails to beer, and there is also decent food on offer. Whether you stop here on your way out, or stay for the duration, it’s well worth popping in to.

5. Tiki Beach

Tiki Beach is the place to go for good, reasonably priced cocktails. Located right on the beach, it couldn’t be in a better spot. With its outside bar it feels as if you’re in the tropics, and what could be better than having a seat by the beach, sipping a cold beverage and watching the sun go down?

6. Morgan’s Tavern

There’s more live entertainment at Morgan’s Tavern, as is quite common for the nightlife in Benidorm. This particular place is well worth popping in to on your trip, as it is a pretty large place that is popular and can fill up to create a good atmosphere. There is a pirate theme to the bar, which makes it very unique and eye-catching, and you could go here just to check out the decor. With friendly staff, going here would be time well spent.

7. Rock and Roll House

Continuing the tradition of themed bars in Benidorm, Rock and Roll House is exactly as the name suggest. The decor and the live performances are all dedicated to that great American style of music. This bar is fun, friendly, and guaranteed to give you a good time. The drinks are a good price as well, and with the music lasting into the early hours, you can wear yourself out on the dance floor. This place is not to be missed.

If you value friendly staff and owners then you won’t be making a mistake if you visit Oliver’s Bar. Many people mention that within minutes of entering, you feel like you have made friends with the owners. Of course, this leads to a very pleasant atmosphere with smiles all round. Wherever you go in the world, you’re sure to find an Irish pub. Among Benidorm’s most popular is The Bodhran. 10. Buddie’s Bar Benidorm

This bar is open long into the night and has a wide range of entertainment. From bingo to karaoke, you’ll be sure to enjoy what Buddie’s has on offer. It is a family friendly bar as well, which isn’t always the easiest type of place to find in Benidorm. In terms of drinks, you will notice a large array of bottles behind the bar, so they can make up a range of drinks, and there are lots of tasty cocktails on offer.

11. Secret Fountain Roof Bar

This is definitely a bit different, and a great find if you’re lucky enough to come across it. On a rooftop, you can lounge late into the night on deck chairs drinking cocktails. The thing that makes this place stand out, though, is the pool where you can dip in between drinks. What a way to relax! On top of that there is live music, all of which creates a great atmosphere. It’s the perfect sun, sea, sand experience, only that it’s all on a roof top.

12. The Explorer’s Club

This bar is famed for both its relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff, who are very friendly. A lot of people come here to chill out before heading somewhere else, but it’s just as worthwhile staying here for the night. They have lots of screens if you are hoping to catch some live sport, as well as entertainment. As an added bonus there is a happy hour, where you two drinks for the price of one! Why wouldn’t you pop by?

13. Kafee Klee

For stunning shows, put on by drag queens, Kafee Klee can seldom be matched for entertainment. One of the great things about this bar is its inclusiveness, as everybody is welcome and catered to here. The shows are every night, and have that great mix of good singing and sharp humour. The bar staff makes sure that everybody is feeling fine throughout the night, as they are not only welcoming but professional with their service. If you can’t enjoy a night at Kafee Klee then you’ll struggle to enjoy yourself anywhere.

14. Jail Rock

Jail Rock is one of Benidorm’s most popular music bars, and is regularly full with people enjoying some live acts. The atmosphere is helped by staff who are extremely friendly and like to get involved, talking to customers. With reasonably priced drinks, if you like live music and a good crowd you shouldn’t miss Jail Rock. The regular band, Carnaby Street, in particular have customers returning in their droves. It’s a guaranteed night of genuine fun.

15. Hagars Bar

Finally, Hagars Bar in Benidorm is aesthetically a very interesting place. The exterior looks very olde worlde, and inside it’s decorated in a spooky style with fake bats, skeletons and cobwebs adorning the walls and bar. One thing that is mentioned again and again by people who have visited this pub is that it is a very welcoming bar, and the owners do everything to make customers feel comfortable. The drinks are very reasonably priced as well, and there is music to enjoy.
