Built in 1986, the Santa Clara Convention Center is among the extensive conference and meeting facilities. The Center is located in the State of California, in Northern Santa Clara.

The Center is in a prime location just at the heart of Silicon Valley and is established in the same complex with the Santa Clara TechMart Conference Center and the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara Hotel. Within its proximity is California’s Great America amusement park. Its convenient central location makes it easily accessible by train, road and air.
Adjacent to SCCC is the VTA Great America light rail station and a few miles away are three different airports in prominent Northern California locations. The airports include San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland International Airports. From the airports, you can then use the available public transport system for smoother commuting to and fro the Center.
If you have to use private means to get to the Center, then there’s ample parking space provided by the 1500 on-site parking space. This space is shared with the TechMart and Hyatt Regency Hotel. Additional parking may be found at the surrounding lots for the not so lucky.

The floor plan has been segmented into rooms of different sizes so as to meet your needs as well as the next person. 5. Mission City Ballroom

As the newest expansion to the Santa Clara Convention Center, it is the second largest in floor space among the exhibition venues of the Center. It measures 22,400 sq. Ft. and can be arranged in several dispositions to meet your specifications.
The Ballroom is complemented with skylights and a wall of glass for lighting and providing the guests with a breathtaking view. Adjacent is a kitchen which simplifies service and makes it timely. No one wants disgruntled guests, do you?
It can also be used as a banquet, classroom, theater or an exhibit room depending on your wish.

6. Going Green
The Santa Clara Convention Center is one of the climate-friendly structures in the United States of America. It has allied with other agencies to not only purchase but use ‘clean energy’. This initiative helps reduce the level of toxins released into the environment when industries discharge carbon dioxide.
ARAMARK, their catering team, has also joined in the initiative by introducing green to the selection provided to event planners.
Recyclables such as paper, aluminum and glass are reprocessed and sold for use.

The Center boasts some awards won from the year 2003 up to date including “2010 Inner Circle Award Winner – Association Meetings” and “2003 Planner’s Choice Award” just to mention a few.
