Benidorm on the Spain’s Costa Brava is packed full of great places to go out and eat. There is a great concentration of restaurants and cafes in the centre near the beaches and in the old town. Even if you go a little further out, though, there are many places that will make your mouth water just walking by. This part of the world is of course famous both for its excellent seafood and wonderful tapas. The great thing about Benidorm, however, is that due to such an influx of people from all over Europe and the wider world, there are many places you can go to sample international food as well. 1. The Vagabond
The Vagabond is a very popular French restaurant in Benidorm. They serve exquisite seafood among other things, such as delicious mussels, and have some very tasty wines on offer. 2. Paradiso Bar Restaurante Terraza
For a more Spanish dining experience, why not try Paradiso Bar Restaurante Terraza. They have amazing seafood such as fresh prawns, and more meaty dishes such as steak. Most people when asked would say that the first food they want to try in Spain is tapas. In Benidorm, one of the best places around for that is La Cava Aragonesa. With great wines to go along with your small dishes, you can really get a local taste here. The staff know what they’re doing, and are very professional, and all food prepared is fresh. With its location close to the beach and hotels, it’s easy to find and a good choice of eatery.

Restaurant Ulia is famed for its seafood. You can get a great variety fresh produce right out of the Mediterranean. For this reason, it’s one of the best places to go in Benidorm to have paella, and some of Spain’s other famous dishes. 5. Restaurant Va Bene Pizzeria
Don’t be fooled by the name, Va Bene Pizzeria has a lot more on offer than just pizza. Even if it did, though, the pizzas here are delicious and have a high local reputation. You can also get other Italian dishes such as pasta and rice based food. For adventurous diners, they even have squid ink spaghetti, and you can really get the Italian dining experience here. Va Bene is a very worthwhile choice of places to eat out.

6. Restaurante Taita
Restaurante Taita has an original menu serving great Spanish food. As soon as you step inside you’ll be aware that this place takes its food very seriously, as they experiment with their dishes. 8. Paneil’s Restaurant
At Paneil’s you can order a set menu or separate items, and either way you won’t be disappointed. Primarily a steak house, but offering other dishes as well, you will find your food cooked perfectly just the way you asked for it. It can get busy due to its popularity, but that should just confirm the quality. Welcoming you into the restaurant are friendly staff members, who will also be able to help you choose from their excellent wine list.

9. Duetto Pizzeria
Duetto Pizzeria is particularly famous for one thing: the size of the pizzas. People will tell you that even the children’s pizza would be enough to fill you up. 12. Refuel Cafe Bar
There is more of a relaxed and casual atmosphere to Refuel Cafe Bar, which makes it a bit of a change to a lot of other options. You will be welcomed warmly, and the staff and owners are very friendly and even willing to talk to you about things to do in Benidorm. The menu is very varied, with a lot of bar-style food guaranteed to fill you up. On top of that it is very reasonably priced and in a great spot overlooking the beach.

13. Sherry’s Bar and Restaurant
There is a real homely feel about this place, both with the decor and the food itself, which is good quality pub grub and hand-made dishes. Their lamb shank in particular is very highly thought of, and you are served mouthwatering portions. It doesn’t get too crowded here either, so you can relax, enjoy the very reasonably priced food, and even sip on a beer or two, which they have on tap.

Finally, if you’re in the mood for some traditional British food then head down to Corky’s Penny Farthing. More of a pub than a restaurant, it offers a different setting and atmosphere.
