The airport is accessible to and from the Valencia city. It is only a mere 8 kilometers away from the Valencia City Center. One can get to it or the center (depending on your destination) via the metro, bus or a taxi. The metro is the fastest means of transportation.It takes about 20 min to get to the Valencia City.How do I get a ticket? You may ask. Luckily, the metro station is located on the ground floor of one of the airports terminals, i.e., the regional flights terminal. The bus, on the other hand, has incredible traveling offers for families and seniors.

The differences in the Airlines is because the Airport mainly operates domestic flights and a sensible level of international traffic primarily from the UK, Germany, France, and Italy.

There is also a membership program that gives you an edge over your fellow travelers to access the lobby with your member card. Yes, you can buy at the airport. For souvenirs of you tour to carry back home, a pharmacy and also press section where you can find Spanish materials specially selected by the airport team to suit your needs. This is the part to go polish up on your little Spanish or test the little that you have learned. The duty-free shop is a large shopping center where you can purchase whatever goods that you may want to carry with you.

There are three major eateries at the airport: Dehesa Santa Maria, Burger King and Farggi. I know this is the second most important part of any travel. You need to get your stomach full or have a taste of something little to keep it calm. Farggi is an ice cream store for those who don’t like traveling in a full stomach. Burger King has tasty hamburgers and other products on sale. For an Iberian taste, Dehesa is the number one stopping shop at the airport.

7. Car Rentals

Are you among those who don’t travel light?Or you aren’t comfortable using public means of transportation? Not to worry, the Airport has car rental agencies located at the exit near Arrivals. The Agencies offer a variety of vehicles for hire to suit your needs. Be it a utility car or a luxury car, or do you want a particular make? All these options are available to you. The agencies include Hertz, Europcar,  Avis and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. All these organizations are international; you don’t have to be bothered about their efficiency and reliability.

The Airport is keen on the conservation of the environment. This is by following a set of rules and regulations that will enhance co-existence of the airport and the environment. This feature is unique to the airport as many others care more about business than the environment. The rules include conservation of plants and flowers and a reduction in noise pollution. I believe that this is something that other airports should emulate, don’t you?

9.Passenger Services Offered

There is a vast number of services available to the passengers at the airport. Four ATMs are at your service for you to withdraw cash and be able to shop at the Duty-Free Shop and also to purchase a lounge pass if you are not a member. Public telephones are also available for you to call home or the one who is to pick you up from the airport if the person is nowhere to be seen. There are also medical services offered in case of an emergency among several other excellent services for you to enjoy.

10. Parking at the Airport

The Valencia Airport has ample parking space for you.With three parking Areas: Hire car, Long-Stay, and P1 parking areas, you won’t have to ruffle yourself on where to park your car. You also have the luxury of booking your slot online. Long-Stay Parking area is fro those on long tours just as the name suggests. P1 is best for a maximum of 4 days and also used for picking up and dropping off passengers.

Valencia Airport is a small but amicable airport just for you as you travel to the Valencia City. The staff will ensure that your needs are met at the airport grounds. You will be given street maps and travel guides free of charge in addition to the services offered.
