The airport is accessible to and from the Valencia city. It is only a mere 8 kilometers away from the Valencia City Center. One can get to it or the center (depending on your destination) via the metro, bus or a taxi. The metro is the fastest means of transportation. It takes about 20 min to get to the Valencia City. How do I get a ticket? You may ask. Luckily, the metro station is located on the ground floor of one of the airports terminals, i.e., the regional flights terminal. The bus, on the other hand, has incredible traveling offers for families and seniors.

Various Airlines operate on the Valencia Airport; of both big and small stature. Such include British Airways, Easy Jet, Wizz Air among others. This gives you a wide range of options to choose from; the Airline that you are most comfortable with and can afford. The differences in the Airlines is because the Airport mainly operates domestic flights and a sensible level of international traffic primarily from the UK, Germany, France, and Italy.
4. Airport Lobby Area
The Joan Olivert lounge at the airport is open for the economy class travelers too, to laze around but at a fee. There is also a membership program that gives you an edge over your fellow travelers to access the lobby with your member card. This is the right place for you to spend the time remaining as you wait for your flight back home or to your next destination. It is fresh and has a delightful ambiance.

There are three major eateries at the airport: Dehesa Santa Maria, Burger King and Farggi. I know this is the second most important part of any travel. You need to get your stomach full or have a taste of something little to keep it calm. Farggi is an ice cream store for those who don’t like traveling in a full stomach. Burger King has tasty hamburgers and other products on sale. For an Iberian taste, Dehesa is the number one stopping shop at the airport.

The Airport is keen on the conservation of the environment. This is by following a set of rules and regulations that will enhance co-existence of the airport and the environment. This feature is unique to the airport as many others care more about business than the environment. The rules include conservation of plants and flowers and a reduction in noise pollution. I believe that this is something that other airports should emulate, don’t you?
9.Passenger Services Offered
There is a vast number of services available to the passengers at the airport. Four ATMs are at your service for you to withdraw cash and be able to shop at the Duty-Free Shop and also to purchase a lounge pass if you are not a member. Public telephones are also available for you to call home or the one who is to pick you up from the airport if the person is nowhere to be seen. There are also medical services offered in case of an emergency among several other excellent services for you to enjoy.
