Alicante is the magnificent port city in the southeastern Mediterranean Coast of Spain, it’s got beautiful beaches and a great nightlife, but as the title says, let’s talk about the absolutely stunning golf scene in Alicante.

1. Alenda Golf Course

Alenda Golf was federated in 1997 and in 1999 it opened a beautiful golf course.
The course is an 18-hole,par 72 with 6,257 meters of fairways and greens. It located in a hillside region with magnificent views of the sea. The first 9 holes are fun and fairly easy with wide lanes surrounded with carob, palm and pine trees but the last 9 holes need much more concentration because it’s more demanding due to precision being more important than distance.

2. Alicante Golf Course

This Course is located next to the Mediterranean Sea and is only 5 minutes away from Alicante. It’s a wide and forgiving flat course with fast greens and no blind holes so its spectacular for all standards of players hence why it can get a little crowded.

3. Altea Golf Club

The 4 holes that changed par are the ones that stand out, that is hole 3,4,6 and 8. They’ve also shortened hole 5 by 100 meters and hole one had its fairway modified, along all of this they’ve constructed 4 new bunkers.

4. Bonalba Golf Course

The Bonalbo Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 Parkland course with a total length of 6,367 meters. It was created, like many other golf courses in the tourist areas, as a part of a real estate project with more than 3,000 houses consisting of villas, apartments, detached and semi- detached houses.

5. Campoamor Golf Course

The Club de Golf Campoamor Resort has a golf course of 18 holes and has been operating since 1988 and was inaugurated by HRH D. Juan de Borbon, Condo de Barcelona and the tournament that bears his name is held annually in his honor. Campoamor golf is a facility that holds the middle class. The last 9 holes are more fun than the first 9 holes. If you can carry your spoon 200 meters, you can reach the green on the par 4 on the 11th hole going over the woods, which in turn can provide an easy birdie. Also, the 16th hole can provide an easy birdie or maybe an eagle.

6. La Finca Golf

This one is to be the pick of all golf courses in Alicante. It’s relatively young since it was opened in 2002 but it is already developed enough to test the best golfers while still having high playability for the beginners. The course is real long and there is plenty of water, so make sure you bring a good supply of golf balls. There are lakes, natural running waters, and wildlife all around, add to this the backdrop of the Mount Escotera.

The natural setting not only provides majestic views of lakes, trees, and mountains but it also challenges and makes the game more exciting and you have to hit a ball on an island green on the fifth.

7. Las Colinas Golf

8.Font Del Llop Golf Course

The course offers players a playing area of a great size that has 5 exit trees for each hole with each green having its own personality.
This course is an 18 hole, par 72 golf course of American and Scottish layout that will be both challenging and delightful at the same time. The hills integrate into the valley, the natural water, and the small river that interconnect 5 ponds makes this place marvelously scenic.

This 18 hole course is extraordinary in design, challenging but never burdensome and the two lakes will test your skill with every club in your bag.The tees are all close to the greens and the course is varied and enjoyable. It’s got ramps, blind holes, protected holes, bunkers, steam, and lakes. Enjoy!

10. Oliva Nova Golf Course

This course is an 18 hole, par 72 links course with 6,350 meters and a slope of 120.
The course is challenging, to say the least, with its technical layout. There are water obstacles on 15 of this course’s 18 holes, on this course good strokes are rewarded and bad ones are punished. To date, the course has hosted various official competitions and the best score so far has been that of Miguel Angel Jimenez in the January of 1999 with 63 strokes, 9 under par.
