A newly opened Multiplex in the small city of Marina is surely a relief for all the movie buffs, who used to travel to Monterey city to catch their favourite flick on a big screen. Though Monterey is not far but it’s still convenient to have a big screen multiplex very near to where you live. A big screen multiplex with all the modern amenities. They keep special hearing aids for people with hearing disabilities. The only downside is their expensive candy bar. But there are plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity. Also, ticket prices themselves are quite decent and the seating is quite comfortable with lift-up armrests, reclining chairs and high backs.

It was first opened in 1926 in Monterey and have been refurbished several times since then. The Old charm is still maintained and is a great centre for live shows. If you’re looking to explore the cultural aspect while visiting Monterey then this is your place to be. The plush carpets and antique ceilings might distract you from the movies. You may bring your own food, drinks and wine in the theatre. The staff is very courteous and generous. Although movies are not exhibited very frequently here these days, it’s still worth an effort to take a look at this one.
