Fresno Yosemite International Airport is the only international airport in Fresno, California. It is a relatively small airport than some of the other airports but it is to its advantage that there isn’t that much rush in the airport which saves your previous time and is convenient. There is also a small exhibit in the airport of Yosemite Valley for the tourists.

It is a small airport therefore, one can easily find one’s way in the airport. But if you need information about locations in the airport, tourist related or anything else, you can ask the people at the Information desk, which is located beside ticket counters.

2. Airport Hotels

It is a standard awareness that you’re allowed to sleep in the airport unless there is an emergency. So, you better off renting a place at a nearby hotel. We are quite a few hotels out there but due to proximity, we will recommend four hotels which are: Ramada, Picadilly Inn, Holiday Inn, Best Western Inn. 3. Terminal Shops & Services:

If you have forgotten something travel-related, you can find them at Hudson news which is located in the airport. If you’re hungry, then you can buy food from shops which are scattered through the airport. Shops include Starbucks, Pizza Shop, and others which sell light snacks, beverages, to heavy meals. If you want to look great before meeting your family or friends for that there is even a barber shop.

The first you need to be aware of; are car rentals especially if you’re alone. As with everything in life, the quality of service depends upon your budget. Alamo, Alvis, Expedia, Budget are all top brands of car rentals and their services are available here. 5. Parking Options and Fees

Fresno airport offers 3 parking options which are cellphone waiting area; if you’re just waiting for your cab or family member to arrive then use this option but keep in mind though they advertise as “free”, it is only one hour free. The other option is short term; if two to three hours are needed for whatever reason, then use this option. For every 20 minutes, $1 is charged. If more 3 hours are needed, then take an option of the long term which has daily flat fee. The fee ranges from $1 to $12.

6. WiFi and Charging

As we all know, the smartphone battery life isn’t that great and you would most probably need to charge it. But you don’t have to worry since it isn’t a large airport, there is always an outlet and USB charging port (free) available for you to use. Free Wifi is also available; whether you want to send e-mails or just to kill time.

7. Military Operations

Fresno International Airport is a joint civil-military project. So, therefore, there is an Air Force base located here and is separate from the civil complex. The base aim is to protect the airspace and border area with Mexico. There is a drill conducted for training and recruitment from national guards.
