If you’re looking for a decent night out, then Fresno is littered with night clubs and bars; for people like you. From gay bars to Mexcian bars, they have quite the range. And if clubs aren’t your thing or you want some change, then there are cinemas and restaurants, where you can go. So, here are 10 establishments where you can enjoy your night.

1. Aldo’s Night Club

This is the one of a popular nightclub in Fresno. Sports and fights (boxing, MMA) are screened here, so come here during game nights.  Being popular, it does get crowded and it isn’t a large club. Besides regular stuff, they have special events and days; Monday night for gays, Mexican night on Sundays, Comedy Week etc. Rules are of the club are not that harsh if you are a decent person you are good to go. What they want is trouble, therefore, don’t allow people who are intoxicated and  gang-related attire.

2. Lit Lounge

Lit Lounge is a popular hookah nightclub in Fresno. So, if you into smoking, this is the one for you. It is a relatively new establishment in the tower district. Premium hookah brands are only offered, which might be slightly expensive but are quality nevertheless. The owner Josh is very approachable and is at most times present, so you anything to ask, do it right away. The atmosphere is great; e.g. the music isn’t disturbing to the ears. Special occasions such as Halloween is also celebrated here.

Audie’s Olympic is a nightclub, dive-bar, and relatively small concert venue. The place is pretty dark as opposed to busting with lights which you may find to your liking. The place is reasonable priced and comparatively, they over-charge for a mere drink. There is a pool; where you can take a dive, a tattoo parlour, and a dance floor. Special nights also get arranged here.

4. Maya Cinema

As with popular cinemas, movies are screened here from 11am onwards to midnight. If you want to enjoy the night and aren’t in the mood of going to a bar or a nightclub, so you can instead make your way here. The sitting arrangement is pretty comfortable and clean. 5. Club One Casino

Club One Casino is; as the name suggests, a casino club which boasts to arrange largest tournaments as well as having the best players in town. Daily events are worth $10,000 dollars. But keep in mind that if you’re not a goo player, you may lose a lot of money. Besides the poker games, they also screen fights (boxing , UFC) and a whole dining area is there where top dishes are served.

6.  The Red Lantern

Established in 1984, The Red Lantern is older than most bars in town. It is a gay bar but there are plenty straight people here. The bartenders are friendly, the owners are ever-present, the prices are reasonable, the music the atmosphere is electrifying, what more can you ask! Special nights are arranged such as; Friday Nights are reserved for Magic ball a.k.a 80s pop, there is also a Latino Night and Sundays are Bar-b-Que nights.

7. The Mad Duck Craft

Not your conventional night-life, The Mad Duck Craft Brewery is a local bar and restaurant making in-house beers and selling burgers and light food. They have recently opened a new shop. The service is of top-notch quality from waiters to waiting time; it’s awesome. Every day, there is a special burger on offer; on Thursdays, they sell their famous Cajun Dog, Mondays are for Guacamole Burgers etc.

8. Star-line Salsa Club

Star-line Salsa Club is a bar, a restaurant, and a music venue. It does get crowded sometimes, so have patience. Popular bands such as Faith and Muse have played here, just last year. Obviously, it’s main attraction is the salsa dancing for regular customers, so if you’re interested in that, it is a great place to spend your night. Special nights include Candela Tuesdays, Salsa Thursdays.

9. Club Imperio

Club Imperio is a bar and dance club. The dance floor is brightly lit having loud music, making the atmosphere pretty electrifying. If you don’t like too much loudness, this bar mightn’t be for you. Bottle services i.e sale of liquor (for taking home) are available here; the price range is between $200- $400, obviously depending upon the quality of the liquor (and brand). 10. Mezcal  Lounge – Bar & Grill

As the long name suggests, Mezcal Lounge is a dance club which has a decent bar and grill (food services). The price for a decent outing is $10 $20, which is not that bad considering it is 2 in 1. It’s a Mexican owned and themed club. You like Mexican food and parties, this is the one for you. Saturday Nights’ are the special nights having different themes each week. Bottle services’ price range between $100 – $400 dollars.

These are the better clubs and bars in Fresno. If you’re going to compare these bars with the night-life of San Fransico or L.A. you’re going to get disappointed, so don’t be too judgemental and enjoy the night.
