The Park was made by Jon Jerde at the place where Osaka Stadium was located. The Namba Park was opened in October 2003. The mall has boutiques for men and women along with outdoor event place and Theatre for watching movies. The mall has one story under the ground and 8 floors above the ground. There is a carnival mall on the first floor and for shopping, you have to go to 2nd to 5th floor. You can also move in to amphitheatre in the mall so as to enjoy live shows which is performed there.

The project was developed by Jerde Partnership and the client name was Nankai Electric railway. The building is divided into two phases Phase 1 and Phase 2. In Phase 1 there is located office and entertainment area. In Phase 2 there is situated residential area and Retail and entertainment area. Phase 1 was completed in 2003 and Phase 2 in 2007.
3. Roof Garden in The Namba Park

The garden at the top of the mall is full of trees, cliffs, lawns, streams, waterfalls, ponds and splendid outdoor terraces. On the whole, the garden provides green component and beautiful view to the city. Below the park is canyon path which connects shops, entertainment and restaurants.
