Santa Clara is also known as the Mission City. That’s because it started as an establishment of missions by the Spanish during the time they had colonized California in the 1760’s.
In 1850, California became a state in America; many visitors were drawn to its fertile lands. A variety of manufacturing, seed and fruit industries sprouted due to this and hence supporting the growing town.

1. Central Park Library

The Central Park Library is one of the three facilities of the Santa Clara City Library and the biggest of them all. It’s connected by various routes and is thus easily accessible.
The services offered vary depending on your preference. Do you like studying in a group? If yes, there are group study rooms. Also available is a café for the little breaks you may want to take in between using the library.
For the history lovers, they have an acclaimed ancestry and local history collection just for you. Its versatility will make it one of your favorite if not number one, library.

2. Mission Library Family Reading Center
As its name states, it is a family oriented library facility. It offers adults and family, a free literacy program to improve on their competency levels through the Read Santa Clara program.
You want your children to grow up cultured; this is the place to take them. The Early Literacy Stations is a section mainly dedicated to children between the ages of two to eight to study science, music, drawing and reading.
This move encourages early realization and nurturing of your kid’s gift. This library is keen on the importance of family and would be a unique yet exciting place to spend your family time.

3. Cupertino Library

The Cupertino Library is an affiliate of Santa Clara’s County Library. It is situated at the Civic Center Plaza near the county’s City Hall.
Being near the City Hall ensures that there’s serene and amicable environment for studying. It has well-separated areas for kids and adult literature which provide quick and easy accessibility to a variety of age-appropriate content for its members.
What sets it apart from the other libraries is the 16 ft. Long aquarium located on its first floor. A picturesque sight for sure.

4. San Jose Public Library

5. Los Altos Library
The Los Altos Library is also a branch of the Santa Clara County Library. Its size of 28,050 sq. ft. is ample space to hold a capacity of 100 people at a go.
The vast space is well divided into a children’s area, teen space, and the general area. Each of the sections is endowed with materials unique to the target group.
Since it’s a public library, there’s free access to knowledge and information by the diverse community within its vicinity. They have a diverse collection of Chinese, Spanish and Japanese materials among others.

6. Woodland Library
Woodland Library is a public library with full-service computers installed with Office 2010 for your use. Its 24/7 access to e-books and e-resources offers the community an individual lifelong learning and cultural enrichment.
