Tenerife is the most populous and the largest island of the seven Canary Islands. The area occupies   square kilometers and more than 40 % of the total population of the Canary island inhabits in Tenerife. The Tenerife is also an island of many opportunities; from remarkable beaches and natural sceneries to world famous parks and amazing nightlife. Here are 10 of the must-go excursions in Tenerife.

1. Loro Parque

Loo Parque is probably the best zoo not only in Spain but in whole Europe according to Trip Advisors. The main attractions of this fantastic place are orcas dolphins, seals and killer whales. It is so famous that tickets are sold at very short period of time, so you have to get there very early in the morning to get tickets. You’ll see animals swimming right in front of your eyes. You probably don’t want to miss this place if you visit Tenerife.

2. Siam Park

Sian Park is undoubtedly the best water park in the world. In the summer, the ticket is sold within a very short period of time due to its famousness. The queue of people is pretty long but fast pass. The water park is nicely organized with private lockers. The slides and rides will really test your nerve. Although the foods are overpriced, but the service they provide worth every penny. Recommended by Trip-Advisors.

3. Teide National Park

Teide National Park is a third oldest national park in Spain located in Tenerife. It is located at the heart of the Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain. The beautiful scenery and lovely colors in the rocks will boost your breathtaking trip. You’ll need a guide if you are visiting the park for the first time.

5. Garachico

Garachico is a great place to visit which has  natural coastlines with a famous tiny castle. This place has a lot of history and beautiful ocean with high waves . The local canteens offer good and cheap food. Great place to visit in groups.

6. The Monkey Park

The Monkey Park is a compact zoo as well as breeding center for endangered animals. The visitors can walk-through cages and feed animals is allowed inside a zoo. It is a cheap and amazing park. You can buy the food only for 3€ to feed the animals. This is a must visit place on a day if you are staying in Tenerife .

7. La Orotava

La Orotava is a beautiful village fill up of little roads with amazing restaurants and views. This place is famous for historic building and balconies. Lots of interesting streets and buildings to explore in this beautifully old town.

8. Punta de Teno

A nice little beach will boost your entertainment even more. Although the road is little dangerous but with an experienced driver and guide, you can relax and visit the place.
