1. Visit the Teide National Park

Revolving around Spain’s tallest mountain Mt. Teide, the Teide National Park is more than just a historical and scientific landmark. There are so many activities the park has to offer: day and night tour, sunset and stargazing tour, helicopter rides, and many others. You can even ride a cable car to get to the peak of the mountain. The views are breathtaking and it makes for an amazing experience.


2. Enjoy the rides at the Siam Park

Siam Park is a popular water theme park in Tenerife. Locals and tourists alike enjoy rides like the 28m nearly vertical water chute called the Tower of Power or the 200m water slide called the Kinnaree. Other rides include the Jungle Snakes, the Dragon, Mekong Rapids, and much more. Visitors may also relax along their man-made beach and have a tasty meal in the park’s restaurant bar.

3. See the animals at the Loro Parque

5. Hike or bike around the Masca Village

Located in the Teno Mountains is the beautiful village of Masca. The scenery and view from this small town are astoundingly pretty but getting to Masca is not easy. An excursion to Masca on foot can take around three to four hours but you may opt to rent bikes for a little more speed. It may seem a bit tedious and exhausting but many find it quite an adventure.

6. Stroll along the Los Cristianos Beach

7. Go hiking at the Montaña de Guaza

The Montaña de Guaza is another hiking trail with magnificent views. You may start either from Los Cristianos or from Palm Mar. Both trails are a bit strenuous to hike but are still fairly easy even for the casual traveler. 17 Learn more about astronomy at the Teide Observatory

Established in 1964, the Teide Observatory is one of the world’s major observatories. The conservatory currently houses astronomic instruments from different countries.
