Just around the bend is the reputable Earth Fest which is the Sacramento Zoo’s Earth Day celebration. An adventure of interactive events in coordination with the environmental, wildlife and conservation agencies that are programmed to keep you anticipated. This is to educate the attendees in protecting and conserving the planet while enjoying doing the same. One of the cool stuff to experience is the animal bio-artifact explorations, storytelling activities in the Zoo’s Discovery Room, the opportunity to interplay with zoo animals. 7. Fish Family Festival

Fish Family Fest is a Christian music festival that is presented by the Sacramento-based radio station 103.9 FM. Christian artists will be performing live various Christ centered songs so families and friends could enjoy, relax and be encouraged while they enjoy the food, art booths and tons of carnival rides. Previous years, songs were performed by Francesca Battistelli, The Reel, For King and Country, Brandon Heath and many others.

8. Golf and Guitars Festival

Golf and Guitars Festival features both a superb lineup of country, rock and singer/songwriter performances in collaboration with a pro-am golf tournament.
